Shipping

As a marketplace, we work with multiple brands which means shipping costs can get complicated (and pricey). As we want you to have an easy check-out experience, we are offering flat rate ground shipping for our launch, with more shipping options coming soon.

 

Here’s How it Works:

$12.00 flat rate shipping on all domestic ground orders no matter how many vendors are in your cart.

 

If you have an urgent shipping request, please contact care@giftmechic.com. We cannot guarantee an alternative shipping option but we can certainly give it a try for you!

 

Taxes

Gift Me Chic does not collect taxes in all states. Your purchase may be subject to sales and use tax. Depending on your state, you may be exempt from sales tax—some states require a tax return at the end of the year for purchases made online.

 

Returns

Gift Me Chic is happy to offer returns/exchanges for the following vendors, in correspondence with the vendors return policy noted below:

*Vendors that accept returns will deduct the $12 shipping fee from the return payment*

Assouline: Returns for exchange or merchandise credit only within 14 days of purchase, no refunds. If the content of the order is incorrect or arrives damaged, an exchange will be issued. Books must have original protective packaging intact and be returned to initial place of purchase. All non-book merchandise including vintage books, objects, and gallery items are considered final sale.

 Cardsome: FINAL SALE

Costa Brazil: All orders ship from Mount Olive, New Jersey. Shipping is FREE to the 50 United States. Expedited service available at check-out. We do not ship to PO boxes. We carefully pack every order but sometimes damage can occur in transit. If your product arrives damaged, please report it to us by emailing care@giftmechic.com within 7 days of receipt. For items purchased on GiftMeChic.com we are happy to accept return products within 14 days of purchase. Returned items must be unopened and in their original condition. Special orders and sale items are excluded. To initiate a return, please submit an email with your complete order info to us at care@gitmechic.com.

Dose Candle & Matches: All Dose candles are carefully inspected and hand packaged before shipment. Candles cannot be returned or refunded once lit. However, you may exchange your candle for another of the same size and price within 30 days of purchase. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs on all return items. 

Fete Home: We will accept returns on orders within 30 days of receipt of order. We provide replacements in the case of damage OR store credit (less to & from shipping charges) in all other cases provided the item is returned in perfect condition. We do not accept returns or provide store credit on furniture or fabric orders unless an item arrives damaged. Additionally, if an item is marked "Final Sale" at the time of purchase, these items will also be exempt from returns and/or store credit.

Fleur du Mal: Fleur du Mal will accept exchanges on unworn merchandise initiated within 20 days of your order shipping. Include all original tags, and a return can be reimbursed in credit, full refund or exchange.

Flyte: Change your mind about your purchase? Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We do not pay for shipping of items returned due to customer change of mind, nor do we refund the original shipping costs. Before any return, please send us an email at care@giftmechic.com.

House of Waris Botanicals: We have a 100% satisfaction guaranteed policy. However, as of our products are perishable food, we cannot accept returns of opened tins. We do accept returns of unopened products within 30 days of delivery.  Please email us at care@giftmechic.com to coordinate a return. 

Indego Africa: We want you to love our products as much as we do, that’s why if you are not completely satisfied we will gladly accept returns within 10 days of the arrival of your order. Please contact care@giftmechic.com and once we receive the returned order we will issue you a full refund. Please note that all shipping charges are non-refundable. Gift Me Chic is responsible for all return/exchange shipping costs. We reserve the right to deny a returned item should it no longer appear salable or does not meet our return standards.

Santo By Zani: Please note all SANTO items are final sale and non-refundable; if for some reason your piece becomes damaged in the future please email us at care@giftmechic.com for us to put you in touch with our expert jewelry team to assist you. 

Sloane Stationary: Our policy lasts 14 days on our Collection products only. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. If you are unable to return the goods in the 14 days for unforeseeable reasons, please send us a note within that time and we will manage it on a case by case basis. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

Studio Drift:  FINAL SALE 

 

Tom Dixon: As a consumer, when you buy via our Website or by phone you are entitled to return your Products to us for any reason any time within 28 days of delivery (or collection from our premises, as the case may be) of the Products to you or your representative, provided you are able to provide evidence of purchase of the Product from us (usually by providing us with a copy of your receipt).

In order to benefit from this right of cancellation, you must within 14 days of you receiving the Products, make a clear statement of your decision to cancel the contract by sending an email to care@giftmechic.com.

The Punctilious Mr. P’s Place Card Company: Regrettably, we do not accept returns unless your order was created in error. Each order is printed custom for you, and therefore we are unable to accept any returns unless resulting from our error or damage in shipping. There are no returns on personalized illustrated cards unless a result of our error. In that case, we are happy to offer a replacement or refund. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact care@giftmechic.com and further return directions will be sent accordingly.

For further questions and concerns, or to process a return, please contact Gift Me Chic Customer Care at care@giftmechic.com. In most cases, Gift Me Chic’s vendors are able to provide a prepaid return label. In the event that one is not included in your shipment, then we are happy to provide you with one via email. 

For shipping, please package your unworn, undamaged items, in the box that it was sent in, and affix the return label.

 

Conditions

Final sale items are not eligible for return.

  • Returned items must be in their original condition - unworn and undamaged, and ideally in original packaging if applicable.
  • Refunds will be processed back to your original form of payment.
  • Returned within the appropriate number of days of eligibility

Items meeting a specific weight/dimension criteria will ship via freight service—the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery
