These pieces are created as a reinterpretation of your pet's photograph. After an initial consultation between Jake and the customer to discuss style and color options, the process involves building a style image and a tonal map of elements which Jake then uses to reconstruct your pet's photo.
What is required: A digital photograph or scanned photo, to base your portrait on. A selection of photographs to choose from would be even better, as some Photos will work better than others in this process. Photographs should preferably be at high resolution. The more detail the better. Images with good contrast tend to work best.
What you will receive: A completely unique and bespoke art print of your pet. Your portrait will be produced as a high quality giclee print on thick museum quality photo rag cotton paper. Delivered to your door.
Prices: The base price for the creation of your portrait is $1500. Final prices may differ based on the size print that you’d like. Shipping to the United States is free.
Timing: Allow 7-10 days for the creation of your portrait. Once your work is complete, production and delivery of your print will take about one week. So approximately two weeks in total from commission to delivery.
